Eli Batalion is a content creator and strategist and one half of the CSA-nominated web series YidLife Crisis. He is the head of the production company eMerge Enterprises Ltd.
Eli Batalion is a writer, producer, actor, and composer who’s done work for the screen and the stage, including the feature film Stage Fright starring Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf, the cult short The Legend of Beaver Dam and the stage hit J.O.B. The Hip-Hopera. Eli is also a digital marketer with an M.B.A. who has worked for Canada’s largest media companies in marketing and content strategy and consults on media and entertainment projects.
In his latest project, YidLife Crisis (nominated for a 2016 Canadian Screen Award and winner of Best Comedy at the 2015 TO WebFest), he has brought these backgrounds together by creating unique content (Yiddish comedy updated to the YouTube era) while applying skills in marketing strategy, brand building and planning, press and communications, social strategy and more to distribute it to the masses.
Eli was born and bred in Montréal, Canada, and calls it home.
