Associate Professor and Manager, Media Production Program, Ryerson University
After 15 years in television for Citytv and MuchMusic, Dana began teaching at Ryerson Univeristy’s RTA School of Media. He’s currently an associate professor and manager for the Media Production program.
Dana Lee started his broadcast career in 1979 at Citytv, when it was still transmitting on channel 79. In 1984, he joined MuchMusic as its Supervisor of Operations, eventually specializing in live music event television. In 1994, he began teaching at Ryerson University’s RTA School of Media, where he is currently an associate professor and manager for the Media Production program. His current research focus at Ryerson is online collaborative learning and teaching and using new technologies to develop e-learning materials and blended learning courses.
Taking imaginative concepts and transforming them into reality has propelled Dana into a continuous quest to use technical knowledge as a means to create original video productions and to design new learning pedagogies.
